SMS Messaging Policy
How text messages sent through ScaleITCRM work — who they come from, how you consented to receive them, and how to stop them at any time.

Who sends these messages
ScaleITCRM LLC operates ScaleITCRM, software that home-service contractors — flooring, HVAC, roofing, plumbing, pressure washing and similar trades — use to run their business. When you receive a text message about an appointment, an estimate or a job, the message is about work you requested from an independent contracting business that uses our software. That business decides what is sent and when. We transmit the message on their behalf.
Each message identifies the contracting business it comes from, so you always know who is contacting you.
What messages you may receive
Messages sent through ScaleITCRM are transactional — they relate to service you asked for. They include:
- Appointment confirmations when work is scheduled
- Reminders ahead of a scheduled appointment
- Notice that a technician is on the way, and estimated arrival times
- Estimates and quotes for work, including a link to review and approve them
- Invoices, payment receipts and deposit requests
- Follow-up about a job, or a request to leave a review after work is complete
- Replies from the contracting business to a question you sent them
We do not send marketing or promotional messages on behalf of contractors to people who have not asked for service from that contractor.
How you consented to receive them
You gave your mobile number and agreed to be contacted by text in one of these ways:
- You gave your number to the contracting business when requesting an estimate or booking work
- You submitted a form on the contracting business's website, including a chat or contact form powered by ScaleITCRM, that stated you may be contacted by text
- You responded to an advertisement from the contracting business and provided your number
- You are an existing customer of that business and provided your number during prior service
Consent to receive service-related texts is not a condition of purchase. You can decline texts and still receive service by phone or email.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on your activity with the contracting business — typically a small number of messages around each job you have scheduled. We do not send recurring messages on a fixed schedule.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Messages are billed by your mobile carrier under your own plan. Neither ScaleITCRM LLC nor the contracting business charges you for receiving them.
How to stop receiving messages
Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will receive one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages after that. Opting out does not cancel any scheduled work — contact the contracting business directly if you want to change or cancel an appointment.
Reply START to resume messages if you change your mind. You may also ask the contracting business to remove your number directly.
How to get help
Reply HELP to any message for support information. You can also reach us at support@scaleitcrm.com. For questions about specific work, pricing or scheduling, contact the contracting business directly — they hold your service record, not us.
Carriers
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier, your device and your coverage.
Privacy
We do not sell or rent your phone number, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. Your number is used to contact you about service from the contracting business you engaged, and is shared only with the vendors that make delivery possible — our messaging provider and our hosting provider. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
For contractors using ScaleITCRM
If you are a ScaleITCRM customer sending messages to your own customers, you are the sender of record for that traffic. By sending through ScaleITCRM you confirm that:
- You have obtained consent from each recipient to contact them by text, and can produce evidence of it on request
- You send only messages relating to service the recipient asked for, and no purchased, scraped or rented lists
- You honour opt-outs immediately and do not attempt to contact a number that has replied STOP from another number
- You comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, applicable state messaging law, and mobile carrier requirements
We suspend messaging for accounts that generate spam complaints or carrier violations. This is not discretionary on our side — carriers deregister the traffic of platforms that tolerate it, which would stop messages for every contractor using ScaleITCRM.
